Our beautiful 1980 vintage has come to an end, and the 1981 Julian James Liqueur Shiraz is a worthy successor, with Blend No. 3 now available.
We have produced this unique style of Shiraz liqueur from our Swan Valley vineyard since 1979, selling most of the wines as 5-10 year old blends. From 1980, the finest vintages were set aside for long-term maturation and blending, with the 1981 vintage as the foundation to this fine, old solero.
With an average age of 25 years, this after-dinner liqueur has concentrated flavours of dark raisin, coffee bean, and chocolate. A style that is a true expression of our vineyard and proudly the oldest wine released by Talijancich that is entirely estate grown and bottled.
