We have purchased this fruit for 55 years from a vineyard planted in 1900, where my father as a 14 year old spent time pruning these vines.
This 2007 vintage is our greatest wine made over that 55 year period, with bottles individually numbered and comes in an individually crafted wooden box.

When I began in 1977, my father had already set aside ten barrels of Tawny from the late 1950’s through to the 1970’s. Five decades on, this Rare Tawny is the result.
Building on a Shiraz base, I used Grenache and a touch of Verdelho (as a Madeira style), then matured in old brandy casks. This Rare Tawny displays richness and concentration, but also the complexity and texture so crucial to this unique style. Rich, concentrated, and nutty, finishing medium-dry rather than sweet like a liqueur.
It is produced entirely from Swan Valley fruit, and each bottling represents a blend number and is signed to confirm the date of bottling. This is our most complex wine and our first Tawny.

Our first release of Gordo Muscat since the 1980s marks a special moment for our winery. This beautifully aged fortified displays remarkable complexity, depth and balance. Layers of orange blossom, caramel, and burnt toffee glide effortlessly across the palate, supported by a gentle freshness that brings elegance and length to every sip.
Also known as Muscat of Alexandria, Gordo Muscat is regarded as an ancient vine, believed to be one of the oldest genetically unchanged grape varieties still in existence. It flourishes in warm climates, making our region the perfect home for this historic and expressive variety.
While traditionally grown in the Swan Valley as a table grape — and also used for raisins — this release celebrates Gordo Muscat in its most captivating form: a wine to savour, reflect upon, and truly marvel at.
My father understood that the Swan Valley is one of the finest wine regions in the world for fortified wine, and it was with this Vintage style that he built his reputation for quality wines.
Using bio-dynamically grown, old-vine Shiraz from our Swan Valley vineyard, I followed my father’s traditional techniques, including adding old brandy spirit and bottling the wine within 2 years to retain its true character. This Vintage style is more concentrated than a Ruby and without the extended barrel ageing of our Rare Tawny.
Displaying flavours of dark fruit, olice and spice on a savoury dry finish. Like our last Vintage release in 1982, this wine can be enjoyed young or will continue to develop in the bottle for a number of decades.

Zabava is a Croatian word meaning fun and entertaining.
This Shiraz and Graciano blend is deep crimson in colour with attractive flavours of fresh cherry and lifted, spicy fruit. A touch of sweetness and a refreshing natural spritz make this the ideal light red for a hot summer's day.
This unique red style is best enjoyed in a sparkling flute glass and always served chilled for any occasion.
Produced from our 1932 plantings, grown using Bio-Dynamic principles, this is a wine that is literally made by hand. We have done away with our usual old techniques and let the fruit do the talking.
Low crop levels from old vines are picked at 3 stages and blended to have extraordinary and complex results. Matured in large old French oak 2000 litre cuves, oak is not evident, but importantly, the primary fruit and subtlety make our Shiraz unique in so many ways.
Deep ruby in colour with concentrated flavours of blackcurrants and dark berries. Enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 8 years and enjoy what old vines can create.

The 1920’s saw my late grandparents leave their families behind in what was Yugoslavia; arriving in Fremantle with no family or close friends to greet them.
What are natural wines and how are they different from biodynamic wines? A short overview of this emerging winemaking trend.
As winemaker for 60 vintages, Peter Talijancich recalls 1961 - the year that the now famous Muscat was produced.
The youngest of our liqueur range made from Verdelho grown on our Swan Valley Vineyard.
This 5-year-old Liqueur Verdelho has been on the shelf for over 18 years. The ultimate goal was to introduce a blend of our White Liqueur, and older vintages to bring the average age up to 10 years. As our base wines of Liqueur Verdelho age, it is more difficult to retain younger wines and therefore maintain a younger blend.
The fruit is handpicked at the semi-raisin stage to help give the finished wine greater texture. Matured in old brandy casks for 10 years, retaining the youthful characteristics of toffee, apricot and honey, all flowing onto a luscious palate. All the trademark characteristics of this classic variety displayed in a liqueur.
