Just as the hot weather finally arrives, we have released our driest Verdelho yet. With weather conditions for the 2017 vintage being cooler than normal, this Verdelho is displaying all of the characteristics of a cool climate white wine. Dry, crisp, but with the signature fruitiness of a Verdelho and perfect acid balance. This is one to drink now or age for 15 years where it will become smoother, richer and more complex.
Verdelho is traditionally known for its production of the fortified Madeira style, which is known to be one of the longest living wines in the world.
Since our first release in 1983, we recognised its potential as a dry white of enormous character. The use of extended lees contact without oak gives our Verdelho greater texture and complexity.
A classic style that has become our trademark.
Zabava is a Croatian word meaning fun and entertaining. Our first light red style reflects this perfectly
This Shiraz and Grenache blend is deep crimson in colour with attractive flavours of fresh cherry and lifted, spicy fruit. A touch of sweetness and a refreshing natural spritz make this the ideal light red for a hot summer's day.
This unique red style is best enjoyed in a sparkling flute glass and always served chilled for any occasion.
BACK IN STOCK!
When I began in 1977 my father had already set aside ten barrels of Tawny from the late 1950’s through to the 1970’s. Five decades on, this Rare Tawny is the result.
Building on a Shiraz base, I used Grenache and a touch of Verdelho (as a madeira style), then matured in old brandy casks, this Rare Tawny displays richness and concentration, but also the complexity and texture so crucial to this unique style. Rich, concentrated and nutty, finishing medium dry rather than sweet like a liqueur.
It is produced entirely from Swan Valley fruit and each bottling represents a blend number and is signed to confirm the date of bottling. This is our most complex wine and our first Tawny.

What we’ve made for over 50 years- our famous Peter's Ruby.
A Shiraz and Grenache blend that is light and fruity, four years old and made in the Ruby port style. Perfect for filling your oak barrel.
We are unable to ship single bottles. The Peter's Ruby is only available for shipping in cases of 6 bottles (equivalent to 12 standard bottles). They can be bought individually in the cellar door.
Produced from our 1932 plantings, including a few rows from our 1926 vineyard. This is a wine that is literally made by hand and feet with no mechanical intervention. Old techniques bring the best out of our fruit and allow the wine to be a true expression of our vineyard.
Low crop levels from old vines, picked at 3 stages and blended have produced extraordinary results. Matured in large old French oak 2000 litre cuves, oak is not evident but importantly the primary fruit and subtlety makes our Shiraz unique in so many ways. This is a dry red of great poise and refinement with ripe plum and blackcurrant notes on an ash background.
Will cellar for 20 years
Produced from 100% Swan Valley Pedro Ximenes. This spectacular old vineyard is now 114 years old (planted in 1900). We have purchased the fruit for over 60 years.
This is our finest vintages from 1974 through to 2001, blended over 30 years in old brandy casks, giving an average age of over 25 years. Each bottling represents a "Blend No." and is signed by the winemaker confirming the date of bottling.
An extraordinary liqueur of immense dimension and complexity, reflecting over 30 years of blending.

We have produced this unique style from our Swan Valley Vineyard since 1979, selling most of the wines as 5-10 year old blends. From 1980 the finest vintages were set aside for long-term maturation and blending, with the 1980 vintage as the foundation to this fine old solero.
With an average age of 15 years, this after dinner liqueur has concentrated flavours of dark raisin, coffee bean and chocolate. A style that is a true expression of our vineyard and proudly the oldest wine released by Talijancich that is entirely estate grown and bottled.

This our third release from this Swan Valley trio. Made from 70% Graciano, 25% Grenache and 5% Shiraz. While in the past we made the wine as a varietal, we have found over the years that Graciano seems to best express itself as a blend. Old Vine Grenache is well known in regions like the Swan Valley for it's high quality, medium bodied reds.
Harvested separately and blended prior to French Oak maturation.
Small percentages of Grenache and Shiraz help to give weight to the palate, while maintaining this unique variety’s distinctive wild berry and earthy character.
The youngest of our liqueur range made from Verdelho grown on our Swan Valley Vineyard.
The fruit is handpicked at the semi-raisin stage to help give the finished wine greater texture. Matured in old brandy casks for 5 years, retaining the youthful characteristics of a apricot and honey, all flowing onto a luscious palate. All the trademark characteristics of this classic variety displayed in a liqueur.
Produced from semi raisin Swan Valley Semillon. Hand picked at 21 degrees Baumé.
This sweet white table wine is one of the world's more unique wine styles. Respected for its fragrance and luscious palate.
Ideally suited as an after dinner wine with lighter desserts or cheeses.
This beautiful sweet white will continue to improve in the bottle, developing a rich honey character over the years.
