2006 Peter Talijancich Reserve
With over 50 Vintages behind him, it has always been Shiraz that my Father cherished the most.
In those early years, he would create some of the most wonderful Vintage Ports from this same Vineyard, planted in 1932 - wines that would live for over 30 years.
It was fitting that in 2007, for our family’s celebration of 75 years of Winemaking, that we release a full bodied Shiraz, totally Estate grown and bottled to commemorate a lifetime in this industry.
This release reflects all we set out to achieve - blackcurrant and coffee bean, behind layers of ripe plum and dusty oak.
The primary fruit characters that shine through from this beautiful old vineyard are something special. Richness and refinement with a degree of elegance best sum up this beautifully structured, full bodied Shiraz.
There are no ’07 or’08 Vintages for release. |
