Talijancich Wines :: Wines :: 2014 Graciano Grenache Shiraz

2014 Graciano Grenache Shiraz

2014 Graciano Grenache Shiraz

2014 Graciano Grenache Shiraz

NEW RELEASE!

This our third release from this Swan Valley trio. Made from 70% Graciano, 25% Grenache and 5% Shiraz. While in the past we made the wine as a varietal, we have found over the years that Graciano seems to best express itself as a blend. Old Vine Grenache is well known in regions like the Swan Valley for it's high quality, medium bodied reds.

Harvested separately and blended prior to French Oak maturation.

Small percentages of Grenache and Shiraz help to give weight to the palate, while maintaining this unique variety’s distinctive wild berry and earthy character.

Bottle: 750ml
Notes: The introduction of Graciano to this blend has added richness and weight to the palate, though still finishing with the softness we expect from Grenache.
Cellaring: Up to 10 years.
Winemaker's Notes: For those who enjoy a heavier Grenache.
