Fortified Masterclass and Australia’s Best Verdelho

The one major annual event that has taken place since 1996 is the Vintage Verdelho Tasting. The event is held as a formal tasting looking at the best 12 Verdelho made throughout Australia.

Over 120 people have attended each year, and are exposed to this unique Dry White style.

Talijancich is the only Winery in Australia conducting such a promotion with Verdelho.

Together with the constant support of Michael Tamburri, Michael Zekulich and a host of guest Winemakers from the West, this event stands alone as a way of raising awareness and promoting the qualities of this long living White wine.

The event concludes with a Fortified Masterclass, with the opportunity to sample a range of world class liqueurs from one variety chosen by James Talijancich.

In 2009, the event will be held at Belvoir Homestead in the Swan Valley on Sat 10th of October at 1.45pm, for a 2pm start..
